As a videographer, there is nothing quite like capturing a wedding day. It's a day filled with so much emotion, love, and joy, and Yasmin and Xairos' wedding was no exception. Having had the pleasure of doing their engagement shoot earlier in 2022, I had already connected with this couple and knew that their wedding day would be special.
This was also the first wedding that Gio and I had the pleasure of being the lead photographer AND videographer for! I couldn’t believe how much smoother the day went compared to other weddings I have shot. We work so well together and it was so easy to get these two relaxed on wedding day. A challenge that is hard to do when the photographer and I don’t have an existing relationship.
The wedding took place at the stunning downtown San Diego Luce Loft, which was the perfect backdrop for this couple's love story. It is a nice little venue tucked away in the Gaslamp district. The perfect size venue for a handful of love ones to party and celebrate with our couple. As their friends and family gathered around, the atmosphere was electric with excitement and anticipation for the ceremony to begin.
The ceremony itself was beautiful and heartfelt, with both Yasmin and Xairo expressing their love and commitment to each other. Xairo spoke about how meeting Yasmin seven years ago had been the most amazing thing in his life and how he had pursued her relentlessly, knowing that she was the girl of his dreams. Yasmin, in turn, spoke about how Xairo was her person, her soulmate, and how she could not imagine navigating this journey called life with anyone else.
The love and admiration that their loved ones felt for Yasmin and Xairo was palpable, with Yasmin's bridesmaids also expressing their appreciation for Xairo and his love for his mother. It was a beautiful moment that truly highlighted the importance of family and the love that they all shared.
As I captured this day on film, I couldn't help but feel grateful to be a part of such a special celebration of love. This wedding was a reminder that love truly knows no bounds and that it is something that should be celebrated and cherished.
In conclusion, I am honored to have been a part of Yasmin and Xairos' wedding day, and I wish them nothing but happiness, success, and many years of wedded bliss.
